This is definitely the best side of the island - away from the mass tourism. The premises were great, amazing value of money. It was great to have a kitchen to cook your own food, as there is a lot of food poisoning lingering on the island. Furthermore, the host was very friendly and makes sure you have a great stay. 10/10 !!

The hotel is on an amazing secluded beach that stretches quite far down and its in a cove shape which is very beautiful- probably the nicest we saw on the island. Theres another hotel down the beach too which gives it a nice vibe with a few other people coming to this restaurant in the evening. The pool is incredible - just like the pictures The hotel restaurant on the beach is amazing, we ate there every day! The food is perfect, prices are so so cheap and the menu is huge and they have loads of cocktails available too

This was by far the nicest place we stayed in Koh Phangan! The room was spacious and clean, towels were replaced daily, there was a shower (with 2 different heads) separated from the toilet by a wall (which has been hard to come by while budget traveling in Thailand). We had a deluxe double room (which is actually a nice, comfy king size bed) with a lovely patio that led out just steps from the beach. The beach is also very nice and quiet and although there’s no signage you do have to pay for the resort beach chairs/umbrellas (though only 250 baht for the day). Highly recommend this place!

Nice quiet location, staff were really friendly and helpful, nice room with a big comfy bed. You have the choice of the beach at the foot of the hotel or 2 big swimming pools. Breakfast was really nice with lots to choose from

very nice staff, and generally sweet and helpfull people around you. They have everything you need in the same building - hotel, laundry, scooter rental, supermarket and a restaurant as a neighbor (with nice local dishes). The area is very quiet, but just 50 meters down the road you have a beautiful sunset over the beach every night. We felt very much at home at mahaad guesthouse.

This a quiet resort on the north of the island, a bit remote, but everything is easily reachable if you have a motorbike. Some of the rooms have been renovated and are super nice. There are also rooms that are a bit tired. However, in an old room we had a mosquito net, which was really helpful. There's a nice pool, and amazing views from the hotel. Walking distance there's a sunset bar with drinks and food, if you don't feel like driving. There's also a nice co-working and a caffe on the hotel territory. Breakfast was good. I also enjoyed a free shuttle to the nearest beaches. And the best part is the care and attention from the reception managers. Never experienced anything like that. They would help resolve any problem, help with planning activities, are always attentive and do their best to make your stay at the resort as nice as possible. They are not only doing their job professionally, but sincerely care about the guests. I want to thank Raymond for all he did for me, he is a person with a very kind heart. Being highly professional in his job, he was doing much more to make his guests feel happy, be in a good mood, feel support and love.

    Perfect for 2 or 3d to explore the area around Koh Ma and Chaloklam. Rooms were clean and have been cleaned throughout our stay, staff also provided new water, which was pleasant. scooter parking available under a roof.

    Hotel is located near nice beach where you can observe a beautiful sunset, during low tide you can walk to small Koh Ma island. There is large parking space (but during day its filled up). You can rent snorkeling gear or kayaks to go around Ko Ma island (hotel clients has special price). Near beach you can get good massage (just go in the morning as most of the towels are not changed during the day). Bar/breakfast are is located near beach and prices/menu is ok
