The property is lovely. The staff are so accommodating. Excellent food. Amazing service. Too much money and I hope that they can help the maasai community more where the lodge is located. They receive no benefit from giving up their land for the lodge to use.

The view was simply fascinating. The photos would never do the view justice, believe me! There is a moment of fascination the moment you see the crater view from the your room. We arrived at the lodge in the dark, after a long and harrowing drive across the Serengeti. The road to the lodge became smaller and smaller, and we had pretty much lost hope. Yet, upon arrival the contrast could not have been bigger. We were greeted into a large and friendly dining hall in the main building, excellent food, and a beautiful atmosphere all across the grounds. The owners have high ecological ambitions, and they are very active in helping to improve the lives of the people in the community. The small, individual houses are lovely, and the location (once you are there) is splendid.

We loved the big room and comfy beds Sitting out on the pourch was wonderful. They kept up all suppies in room and gave us a hot water bottle to heat the bed up. The fireplace was a nice touch. Pool excellent and property clean and beautiful. Easy to get picked up for safari. Dinner was nice and excellent.
