This was an ideal place to stay when traveling for work. It was so nice to have what it basically a 1BR apartment. Large bathroom, nice kitchen, spacious living room, and free laundry! I felt safe and relaxed in the family atmosphere. This will be my top choice if I return to the area.

The property was conveniently located with 2 major grocery stores across the street. If one forgot necessary clothing items, there is also a T.J. Max and a Maine must see store, Renys. I was in town for eye surgery and a 10% discount was given for cataract recipients. The fridge and microwave came in handy since I could not drive post surgery. I was greeted warmly by Gary and handed delicious chocolate chip cookies. I requested a quiet room (the hotel sits by a railroad) and he put me on the second floor. It was perfectly quiet. The breakfast isn’t anything to write home about, but fresh fruit and whole wheat toast would be my recommendation. They offered cereal and almond milk was available. The hot items were not personally my cup of tea. This has no bearing on how I felt about my stay. I came prepared to make my own breakfast. Hot soup is available throughout the rest of the day, which is a thoughtful touch. The room is well appointed & clean with plenty of towels. The mattress was amazing as were the pillows. If I could have fit it in my car, well, I would have been tempted! Heading back there tomorrow for two more nights for the other eye. Thumbs up!

The King room was so comfortable - after a long day of travel, this room was just what we needed, a very comfortable bed, nice warm temperature, very spacious shower. As we arrived late, they sent us self check in information, which was very simple. The staff was responsive and kind and helped us out with our request to stay an additional night in the room and even gave us a discount. The drive to Acadia took around 40 minutes.

    Price and location. The room met expectations, very clean, comfortable beds and exceptionally fluffy bath towels which we loved. Parking right outside each door, set far enough back from the main road insured the place was quiet. SUPRISE BONUS - complimentary potato chips, popcorn, chocolate bars and carbonated water!

    Well located, friendly staff, lowest price in the area. I stayed during some snowfall days, and parking lot was always well plowed. I would definitely stay again.

    It is new and cool and decorated well. Everything needed was there and more. Good parking...comfy bed...kitchen well stocked for use. Fun place with electric fireplace! Three great bedrooms all upstairs with a cool sitting area and laundry up there as well as 1 full bath and a half bath too! Full bath downstairs too...but no bedroom on first floor.

    Located in a very busy main street, but close to a variety of stores. Staff was very accommodating, helpful, friendly. Given additional hangers and bathroom to be better cleaned when we asked. Like the small fridge, coffee maker, bottles of spring water, microwave. Room was very nicely decorated & plenty of parking space.

    Great location. Close to grocery store, laundry & Acadia NP, but away from the crowded Bar Harbor. Much quieter. Keyless entry was nice. Staff was very helpful & contacted you by text. Bathroom was very nice, clean & updated. Had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable & plenty of pillows. Towels were nice & thick! Plenty of parking.
