The hotel very beautiful, only 5 min walk to the Ski lift, 5 min to Gosau town, 10-15 min drive to the lake, 30 min drive to Hallstatt and 45min drive to st.Wolfgang. It’s free parking at the hotel. The room very nice, clean and cozy. Full options of amenities, very comfortable and it made me feel like home. The owner Nikki very kind and polite. I will definitely going back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Haus Friedrich. The room is clean, smart and with nice view. We love the playroom also. The breakfast was delicious and generous! There are many activities to do in the area. Above all, Jo & Mark are very friendly hosts! Their hospitality made us feel like we were visiting relatives in Austria. We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn't want to leave. We highly recommend Haus Friedrich!

The welcoming atmosphere (Eva and Norberd was amazing hosts), combined with the excellent facilities and top-notch service, made it the perfect place for a family vacation. We felt truly cared for and valued as guests. We will definitely be returning someday and highly recommend Rate Schneckenhaus Dachstein West to other families looking for a wonderful stay.

The host is very friendly, he contacted me in advance to make sure I have all the information. I easily collected the keys from the hotel reception and I had all the support I needed. The studio is a little bit small for 4 people, but it was described correctly so I knew what to expect. We got a very good stay for the price we payed so it was a great deal for us. Gosau is a very nice village, easy to get to great local attractions (lakes, hiking areas, cycling routes, Halstad town, etc) Overall we had a great stay here and the host made us feel welcome!
