Boasting a garden and views of quiet street, B&B Huis Spaas is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Pelt, 33 km from C-Mine. The place was so relaxing because of the beautiful view and nature . The room was fabulous , nice bath and comfortable bed . The owner of the place they were so kind and friendly, we had a homemade breakfast. Everything was just perfect ❤️🫶🏻

Offering a garden and quiet street view, B&B de oude melkfabriek is set in Valkenswaard, 48 km from C-Mine and 50 km from Bokrijk. A beautiful converted dairy in a small village , next to a working windmill, what’s not to like ,😀 there is a pub/restaurant and a small take a way food shop. There is also a world class equestrian site . We opted to have breakfast there wasn’t a choice but we had fresh fruit with yogurt ,bolied egg with a section of cheese and meat and assorted bread and pastries all served with a choice of tea or coffees . The B&B de oude melkfabriek were extremely accommodating as we made a short notice booking with them as the B n B we had previously booked which was on our tour route unfortunately became flooded and they had to cancel our stay . This B&B is also a short drive or a long walk to Achel Monastery where there is a shop and restaurant. Although you will find a lot of places are closed on a Monday .

The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. While the bathroom and toilet are shared, it wasn’t a big issue. Breakfasts were a lovely touch, offering a chance to chat with other guests or the welcoming host. Plus, there’s an adorable dog to greet you! The location is very convenient—just 10 minutes to the center of Genk by public transport or a 40-minute walk. Nearby, you’ll find a large swimming pool, a sports complex, and a park. A grocery store is also within a 15-minute walk. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we hope to return in the summer!
