The place was so relaxing because of the beautiful view and nature . The room was fabulous , nice bath and comfortable bed . It is a little off the beaten path so I recommend having a car. It is quiet, clean and set in a beautiful atmosphere. I made friends with the hosts and other guests because everyone is so happy and friendly. I would highly recommend oude melkfabriek. An added bonus: next door is a functioning windmill that you can tour two days a week.

The room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. While the bathroom and toilet are shared, it wasn’t a big issue. Breakfasts were a lovely touch, offering a chance to chat with other guests or the welcoming host. Plus, there’s an adorable dog to greet you! The location is very convenient—just 10 minutes to the center of Genk by public transport or a 40-minute walk. Nearby, you’ll find a large swimming pool, a sports complex, and a park. A grocery store is also within a 15-minute walk. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we hope to return in the summer!
