Only 50 metres away from Bamboo beach, Hotel Selena is 800 metres from the centre of the ancient town of Sozopol. The property was very clean and comfortable - the staff friendly and very helpful. There were 2 outdoor pools. The buffet was very good - lots of options.

A fantastic place to stay, located right in the heart of Sozopol's old town. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. A major bonus is the private parking near the hotel, which must be booked in advance. If you're driving, follow Waze's instructions and just drive through the barrier on the right to enter the old town.

We were absolutely spoiled by the girls at reception, they welcomed us every morning and evening with a smile, making sure we have everything we need and asking whether we enjoyed our day or whether we'd like any recommendations on things to do. I would also like to thank Tania and the other girls who made up my room, making sure I have coffee capsules and water every day, leaving some cute towel arrangements on the bed (e.g. a swan or an elephant) - that made me smile every time I entered the room after lunch! The bed was super comfortable as well, crispy clean sheets felt luxurious. The room is spacious and very comfortable, I loved reading on the balcony and the air conditioner did an excellent job at cooling me down after a day out in the sun. I also adored the swimming pool outside, it didn't even smell of chlorine which usually puts me off swimming, and it wasn't too deep so I felt safe (as I can't swim for long distances). Miss the place already!

Uh, where should I begin. Let’s start with the staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We even got a hammock for the stay - it was just heaven. The location is beautiful af - seriously for the kind of money you’re paying - it’s an Nobrainer. If you like camping - this is the place to be. You’re waking up with an absolute breathtaking ocean and beachview, “fall” outside your campervan, make your great coffee at your outdoor kitchen and enjoy this beautiful place, like heaven on earth. You can see the pictures - they’re not lying. We even saw a turtle ! Thank you for everything. we’ll come back, that’s for sure ❤️

Olive Villas was fantastic from start to finish. Stayed 2 nights then added 2 more it was so good. Staff was fantastic from check-in forward. Restaurant is good (ate there for 2 dinners plus daily breakfast). Beach service (chairs and towels) were FANTASTIC. Beach good/drink service was also good albeit pricy. Great views from the rooms. Liked that the pool closed at 1900 so that things got quieter in the evenings. We were there in August 2025 and while the resort was essentially full, it never felt overcrowded. Olive Villas is pricey, but worth the money. I would absolutely return - HIGHLY recommended. (Reviewer: 55 year old experienced traveler with teenagers).
