The hotel is not only very clean and very functional for a beach location surrounded by nature, but it also has a lot of charm. It is a family business and the staff is super-friendly and goes above and beyond to make the stay special.

Located in Abraão, 700 metres from Abraaozinho Beach, Praia Comprida Flats provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. With sea views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Wonderful and lovely place to stay for people that want to have a more quiet and secluded place away from the main village, but still within walking distance (15min, or a 5min taxi boat ride). It sits directly above the Comprida beach. On arrival/departure day, somebody will pick you up/bring you to the main pier by boat. I felt very welcomed by the place and the hosts. I was lucky enough to meet the hosts and there was one other couple staying there. On the first night, we spontaneously had an informal dinner altogether. It's a great base to discover the island, situated along the hiking trail to several more distant beaches and viewpoints.

Renan was as friendly as one can be and gave us recommandations even on what to do after our stay on the Island. Overall really wonderful people and we hope to come back! The pousada was very confortable and was well equiped. Breakfast had a big selection and we enjoyed the late afternoon coffee! Thank you for making our stay so pleasent.

Their tour desk can arrange boat or walking tours throughout the island. everything was perfect, we loved our stay. Isabel is very welcoming and takes great care of everything. the location is beautiful. breakfast was tasty.

Situated in Saco do Ceu, Pousada Gata Russa offers beachfront accommodation 200 metres from Saco de Ceu Beach and features various facilities, such as a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. I was able to delay our stay by a couple days due to a scheduling conflict. I sent a message to the Pousada and they responded quickly and did not have any problem with the change. A couple of good restaurants were within easy walking distance. The breakfast was exceptional. Staff treated us like family and I look forward to bringing another group of friends here in the future.
