The owners are charming and go out of their way to assist. We could not dine there because, silly me, I did not read till the end of the confirmation email, which specified that advanced booking was required for the restaurant. And so we missed out on a gourmet dinner. So, future guests, do read the email till the end.

The owners welcomed us to the motel with a small gift of basket of rolls, water and coffee. The grounds went beyond expectations with sitting areas complete with a fire pit and BBQ. The unit was very clean and fully stocked with dishes and utensils.

Cozy, very clean room. Manager was great and recommended the Doryman Pub and Grill in town for dinner. The entertainment was great, Scottish fiddle group. Perfectly set the mood for our location. Location was great for heading into Cape Breton Natl Pk the next day.

Comfortable beds, access to fans/AC to cool the rooms down. Reliable wifi (at least for mobile browsing) and a great breakfast each morning. Walkable to local beaches & a lovely lawn to chill on at the start/end of the day. The property offers free parking. The facilities in the cottages were exceptional. The kitchen was stocked way better than many airbnb's. The staff was super helpful and very nice. Although we didn't use it, the games room looked amazing!
