Children loved the ability to help themselves to toast, yogurt, mini muffins, cereal, oatmeal, milk, juice, coffee, and hot chocolate.

Set in Rivière-la-Madeleine in the Quebec region, Gîte Shoreline de la terre à la mer features a balcony and sea views. Everything was great. Lucie was accommodating when there was a mixup with the booking. Bed comfortable and atmosphere very "homey". Nearby lighthouse visit a plus for scenic views and history of area.

Facing the beachfront, Auberge Café Acadien offers 2-star accommodation in Bonaventure and has a garden, terrace and restaurant. Among the various facilities are a bar and barbecue facilities. We enjoyed a very comfortable, cozy stay in the châlet behind the restaurant and a wonderful breakfast. It was equipped with all the amenities we needed, incorporated nature in the decor, and we had good space for our one-night stay. It was nice to be a stone's throw from a delightful dinner at the restaurant and the included hearty, hot breakfast options the next morning. The staff were wonderful and there's a parking lot for the auberge, but we used the public parking, which is abundant. It is very walkable to downtown and it is near the lighthouse and neighbors a camping and beach area.

Boasting river views, Chalets du bout du monde features accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Gaspésie Museum. This chalet was a very charming, quiet, and peaceful place to be. It was extremely well equipped with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the deck, looking out over the sea, an amazing view! Facilities were clean and well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for hiking in Forillon National Park and was convenient for shopping and dining in the town of Gaspe.. We would definitely recommend this place as a quiet getaway!

Offering an ideal location between the sea and mountains, Les Cabines sur Mer is located on top of a cliff at the entrance of Forillon National Park. It offers views of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. Incredible location, with the cabins literally perched above the ocean. The interior is basic but comfortable and cosy. Definitely big enough for two people. The owner is very helpful and provides excellent recommendations for exploring the region.

Auberge Bruine Océane is a 4-star property situated in Matane, facing the sea. Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Absolutely fantastic location. The room was perfect and the bathroom (shower, spa) were the best. The colour scheme was sophisticated and relaxing. The bed was ten out of ten. Since I was off season, the inn did not offer breakfast but the room could have been used to prepare light meals .
