The Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa is a historic five-star hotel located in the heart of Bern, Switzerland. I loved the rooms. Very spacious and beds are super comfortable. Bathroom is very nice too. Some of them have baths and some only showers so check ahead if you have a preference.

Denise was friendly and welcoming. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, while it is only one stop away from downtown. Denise arranged the free online bus ticket which made the going around super easy.

Maybe one of the best stays I ever had in Europe, though it was just a one-night passing by. The house is made from an old cow barn, very chic and cozy, well furnished and equipped with everything you may need. Bamboo screens divide the large space elegantly so that the bed is nicely located in privacy. Also lovely books and postcards in the collection. As a passer by, I also liked that the house is conveniently located from the highway, which makes it the best stop for driving from north to the south.

Bright, sunny holiday apartment on the farm ligger ca. 30 km fra Zytglogge. Her er balkon, kaffemaskine og udsigt til en have. Wonderful upper apartment on a quaint farm. Fritz was a kind host. Enjoyed the porch. We were only here for one night as we were driving from Paris to Italy, but it was a perfect spot for the night. We are already thinking about a separate trip back with a stay here to explore more of the Alps.
