Comprising a garden and barbecue facilities, Montahue Nercón is a recently renovated accommodation in Castro set close to Church of Nercon. I was there for a couple of nights. The place was clean, with towels and a private toilet. It was easy to get there and the person who was in charge was really nice and kind. Extra nice thing, they have tea or coffee in the morning and evening (for the "once"). Also they have jelly and eggs if we want to use them for free. We only had to get our own bread.

Sandra is a lovely host, who tries her best to make you feel comfortable. The showerhead was adjustable and could get really warm. The place is located right on the costanera and the cafe opposite sells amazing cakes.

This is a really neat and stylish hostel. Everything was constantly kept clean and tidy. Rooms were in great shape with modern equipment, comfortable and warm. The kitchen is spacious and provides plenty of everything for cooking and food storage. There is also a coffee machine and free tea. Best of all is the host who was super friendly and helpful. He provided us with great recommendations for daily trips around the island, what to visit, how to get there, popular highlights and germs off the beaten track. His effort was just amazing. We enjoyed our stay here very much. During 8 months of travels this was one of the best hostels we stayed at, and we would come back to the place at any time.

The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. In a good central location, close to the bus terminal.

Everything is perfect: the room, the amazing waterfront view, the breakfast and I would give a 10 out of 10 for the warm-hearted staff! Do not miss the fishing wharf - go there in the morning and you will have the reward.

Breakfast was prepared always just before we came down . We were always asked what time we wanted to have breakfast. We stayed over Newyear's eve and New years day. And they arranged for a delicious meals to be brought to the lodge for us during a time many restaurants were closed. Parking was in a gated area and very secure. they have cat and dogs that were very friendly, but were kept outside our entire stay. The owners kept in contact with us prior to arriving. I would go back here anytime!

Lovely hostel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the kitchen - big, homey, and filled with everything you need to cook. The staff wonderful - helpful, patient, and kind! The hostel arranged a penguin tour and kayaking tour for me - both a lot of fun. The hostel is located right across the street from Bus Sur Station so if you are planning to travel here by bus from Castro or Puerto Montt, take Bus Sur! It's alos located just a few blocks from the shore and from many restaurants, supermarket, and cafes.
