EcoFunco is absolutely amazing! Lea and Joao are wonderful hosts, present from even before setting foot on the island. They helped us with transportation from and to the airport, they found us a guide to hike the volcano (Joao also is a guide) and gave us tips on things to do and trails to walk while on the island. The breakfast is excellent, abundant and varied. And they arrange it for you no matter what time you want it. The room is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable. The whole place is peaceful and quiet and the views are simply breathtaking. If we ever go back to Fogo, we will definitely stay with Lea and Joao again!!

After a long tour of Cabo Verde, it good to relax in the high of Fogo. Swimming pool, nice campaign around. Very peace full. Very comfortable bed. Nice and cool place. Efficient team. The place is very well set up and the owners are kind and helpful people. It's a family operation with lots of experience in hospitality. The rooms are clean and functional. The meals were nice too. We would definitely stay here again.

Ciza and Rose have built a house where a few basic but characteristic rooms face an internal place where breakfast and dinner are served. The place is simple but very clean and perfect for a few nights in an unbelievable place. You will get to know how these proud and strong people rebuilt their village after the last eruption (2014) and how they make their life there. Rose will guide you to the top of pico de fogo if you like, or he will organize a tour for you. He can recommend a wine testing close by. The wine is produced in fogo and it’s good!!! Go! You cannot regret!

Casa alcindo se nachází v Chã das Caldeiras a nabízí bar. K dispozici je nepřetržitě otevřená recepce a restaurace. Výhled směřuje na hory. Všechny pokoje v tomto bed and breakfast mají šatní skříň. Everything... Attention , food, accommodation, internet (taking in account the house is in a remote place). They really care about you. I've never felt so welcomed! :) Alcindo is also the best guide to Pico do Fogo you could ever have.

TCHAN LOVe se nachází v destinaci Portela a má restauraci, dětský klub, bar, zahradu, terasu, dětské hřiště a výhled na město. The location is perfect. Right at the start for the hike to Fogo. The location in booking is (as of today) not correct, its right in the center of the village. But the owners are superfriendly and can send you the details via WhatsApp. I arrived late because I was hiking till sunset and he waited outside on the street, and after check in I got a really delicious meal. The room has 3 comfy beds, enough plugs to charge and extra blankets. The bathroom is modern and has a shower (unlucky only with cold water). In the main building there are tables and chairs and a small bar. There is beer, wine, softdrinks, water.... Everything is clean and the WiFi works great. Breakfast is included, but I didn't use it as I was out hiking. From the house you have perfect views of Fogo. I can really recommend this place.

Catia is a wonderful host and made our stay very great. We enjoyed the remote location right at the ocean front. The meals were very delicious and all prepared fresh. We had a great stay and enjoyed every minute of it!

One of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed, great value for money. Dani and his family prepared great food everyday, very very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Great recommendations concerning the surrounding area and the volcano. They offer all kind of tours for different levels of experience without being too pushy for it, so if you want to do a hike on your own, you still get the same great recommendations. Overall just a great place to spend your time, very relaxing.
