We had apartment no 41, it was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the city and the sea.

The apartment was great, in a quiet area and close to the pedestrian street and the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed in case you wanted to cook anything, big balcony, comfortable mattress, clean bathroom. Dali and Zuela are absolutely amazing, they arranged a taxi from us from the airport so everything went smooth. They are always there to help you with whatever you need - be it the accommodation, booking trips for you, or telling you how to find your way around the island. On top of that, when my husband got (slightly) bitten by a dog, Dali went above and beyond to find us a clinic that was open and we are grateful for that! She even helped us with other stuff after we moved to another hotel, which wasn’t her job anymore, but being the nice person that she is, she did that too. Our only regret is that we didn’t spend the whole holiday there!

Very nice welcome from the airport to the hotel. Great location in the heart of Santa Maria, close to the beach and lots of restaurants in the area. Room was spacious, balcony looked out into the sea and you have everything you need. Recommended 100%! Thank you so much.

Ubytování Villa ao Mar se nachází v rybářské vesnici Santa Maria, 200 metrů od farnosti Panny Marie Bolestné a kostela Nazarene. Location was spot on. Loved the roof terrace, after a day on the beach, was amazing to have this space to watch the sunset and the views were stunning! Also very well equipped for self catering. Kitchen had everything we needed. The local security guards who patrol the streets at night, made us feel extra safe and even brought our swimwear inside the building one evening to keep them safe. Amazing, friendly guys!!
