Set in Amberg and with Stadttheater Amberg reachable within 600 metres, Mariandl am Berg offers a tour desk, allergy-free rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. We were glad that the receptionist waited for us for some minutes past 8pm as they finish working at 8pm. We travelled with bicycles and we could safely park then in a closed area within the hotel. All was perfect!

Located in Regensburg, Green Spirit Hotel has a garden and a terrace. The property is around 3.6 km from Cathedral Regensburg, less than 1 km from Stadtamhof and 1 km from Old Stone Bridge. Modern lovely place! I loved how artsy it was all around the areas. The room was quite standard but very comfy and satisfying. Shower with great with warm water all the time even when it was snowing outside.

This unique hotel is a historic 300-year-old former prison built into the historic wall in Amberg, just 350 metres from the town hall square. Hotel Fronfeste takes the prison theme to the extreme, in the best possible way. They even have a "prison escape" adventure that other guests participated (we did not), in which they wore striped uniforms, that made the whole experience feel more lighthearted and fun. On a more serious side, I work in corrections in the US, and it was interesting to me to see the structure and construction of this authentic medieval prison. The staff was very, very friendly and super helpful and nice. (If you are the type who would not like to have casual, personal conversation with the staff, this may not be the place for you.)

A recently renovated property, Großzügig und super zentral is situated in Regensburg near Regensburg Central Station, Cathedral Regensburg and Bismarckplatz Regensburg. The location of the property is right opposite to the Regensburg Hauptbahnhof. It is also close to the bus station and since it is part of Innenstadt, we could walk around the center of the city . The facilities were very convenient .
