It was so welcoming. I'd had a terrible start to one of my days, I came back to Waveboard, Lara at reception was fantastic I had a Latte, listen to the music, i thought, there is definitely not that much Christmas Cheer in Australia . The classical-style rooms of the Hotel Am Jägertor feature fine materials, air conditioning, and modern bathrooms. Some rooms have a balcony. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the gorgeous Sanssouci Park. The room was air conditioned, elegant, impeccably clean, and well-appointed, with a well-stocked mini-fridge. The breakfast buffet was vast and even included lovely jams made in-house. There's a cozy lounge area for a nightcap. At night, it's enough off the beaten track that the room is quiet. The staff are courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It's not cheap, but I learned from a colleague who stayed in a cheaper place, you get what you pay for.
