There are several bars and restaurants within a short walk, and Salamanca University is only 800 metres away. Public parking can be found 100 metres from the guest house. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well presented. The room had some old charm and character which made for a pleasant stay and atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally hospitable and organised. It was great to receive some good old fashioned customer service. On arrival the host answered any questions with diligence and with a true willingness to help make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He also provided us with a map of the town and identified on the map where we were and how to get to the main tourist sites in Salamanca.

Sercotel Puerta de la Catedral is just 100 metres from the University of Salamanca, which dates from 1218. The hotel offers views over the Cathedrals. The Plaza Mayor is only 400 metres away. Private parking is available on site at an additional cost. Great location, Friendly and helpful staff, Heating really works well even coldest days, Amazing Breakfast .
