Very clean, sufficient space for 2 people with modern supplies. Reception people are very friendly and helped us a lot to discover Bilbao. For people with car I would recommend to use the parking place provided by this apartment house (extra fee 25EUR/night) as it's convenient and no headaches to find a parking spot on the streets (which is in fact difficult).

Situated in Bilbao, 200 metres from Arriaga Theatre, Hotel Tayko Bilbao was built in 1924. The property is within just 0.2 km of Catedral de Santiago and 15 minutes' walk from Guggenheim Museum. One of the best designed hotels I have ever stayed in. The interior design of all the spaces is top notch. Spatious rooms and a large bed. The breakfast is a la carte and has some interesting and creative items. Was upgraded for free to a better room and got a free drink for self-checking.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, AISTA Landetxea is a recently renovated country house set in Campanchu, 34 km from Catedral de Santiago. Absolutely beautiful place, nicely decorated! Perfect breakfast. Also possibility to prepare some dinner for late arrivals. People who run AISTA are very nice!
