Apukka Resort is in Apukka, just 15 minutes drive from Rovaniemi. The property features multiple saunas, including an ice sauna, igloo sauna and movable saunas. The resort is just amazing! I have seen 5-star resorts that this place surpasses.

This boutique hotel is 8 km from Rovaniemi Airport and Santa Claus Village. It features bright, ultra-modern rooms with individually themed décor. WiFi and parking are free. The location was very central in walking distance (2-5min) to shops, cafes and restaurants. Nili restaurant is directly next to it. Beds were comfy. room was clean and the windows can be opened (unlike in other hotels) for some fresh air. Rooms are also very well sound proof. breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, even for vegan people. Kind staff at the reception.

This Finnish Lapland property offers traditional cabins and a waterfront sauna next to Lake Inari. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, free parking and a beautiful setting surrounded by nature. My wife and I have now stayed in 3 different places in Inari. Each one had it's specific strengths and charms of course. This was our favorite of the 3; location can't be beat. Nice to have your own kitchen so you're not dependent on hotel cooking and timetables. And the setting on Inarijarvi can't be beat.
