Robert gave us a lifts around, and took us to the waterfalls (wonderful) and he offers boat trips too.

Jaydee’s is a true Fijian homestay experience – you’re staying with a local family in their home - the facilities are simple but clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. What makes it truly special is the family, who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The warmth and hospitality of the family was the highlight. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, especially the grandmother, who radiates love and generosity. Staying here feels like being part of the family, and it’s a privilege to share in their home and culture. Breakfast was tasty, served with warmth and generosity – the perfect start to the day. And we had the yummiest dinner, made with love and care by the grandmother of the house. It was our favourite dinner of our trip! The location is great for exploring Taveuni. It’s peaceful and feels authentically local, while still being convenient for getting around the island. Just remember, you're at the top of the Island so if you're looking to get around lots, consider hiring a car. We used the local bus service and it was great, but it's not the most regular of service. (enjoy Fiji time!!) Mostly, we had a blast getting around walking which built up an appetite :) Reach out and ask the family when you book if you need help getting around, they're more than happy to help sort out local transportation. Honestly, the only thing we wish is that we had found Jaydee’s earlier and stayed longer! It was the most wonderful stay and the most amazing memories. We can not recommend it enough!! The homestay is in a beautiful little village in between the major attractions such as the Lavena Coastal Walk and the Waitavala Water Slide. The villagers are warm and friendly. The host family is exceptionally kind and professional. They treat you as if you're a guest at a five star resort. One of my favorite things about my stay was the food! They prepare the best homemade dishes!

We loved our stay with Sarah and Sam, their home cooking was the best food we had in Fiji - it was a feast every night. This is not a luxury resort by any means and nor should it be, but it was perfectly clean and very comfortable and has a beautiful snorkelling spot nearby. Sam also took us to do the amazing Lavena coastal walk. Taveuni is a beautiful island and we had a wonderful stay at Aeroview.

Coconut Grove Beachfront Resort se nachází u pláže ve městě Matei na ostrově Taveuni. Každá chata má vlastní sluneční terasu a rezort nabízí masáže na soukromé pláži. The food was excellent - we had all our meals there and they were all delicious! The staff are all amazing people and the views were to die for! The rooms were comfortable and our view from the windows and patio was just awesome.
