Amazing location, it was very, very, very clean, coffee was amazing, I tend to travel a lot as a touring artist and I loved this place! And thanks for the A/C that's a very big plus!

Spacious rooms within a true farm..down a short lane near the center of the old town. Greeted very kindly despite our last minute booking. Tub, sauna...and plenty coffee!!

The hotel is in a small, quiet village but the local museum of history and art is across the road. The restaurant in the hotel seems to be the only one in the vicinity but it’s excellent and the service is great. Our room was nicely appointed and very clean with comfy beds. Good location for visiting the attractions in the area but you’ll be best to do this via car. Also the staff are very friendly and are happy to help.

The Hotel de la Poste is much more than a place to rest—it's a living testament to Avallon’s vibrant history. Founded centuries ago as a stop for travelers and dignitaries alike, the hotel has hosted everyone from literary figures to royalty. Its walls echo with stories of grand celebrations and whispered secrets, giving every guest the sense of stepping into a narrative that continues to unfold. The rooms at Hotel de la Poste are a masterclass in blending historical charm with contemporary luxury. Each suite is individually decorated, featuring elegant French furnishings, sumptuous fabrics, and thoughtful touches that evoke a sense of timeless beauty. The apartment was very clean, great located and was nicely prepared for our stay. Even mini bar was such a nice touch! We felt very warm welcomed!

Hiljuti renoveeritud Le gîte du Sorcier 89 asub Avallonis, Vézelay basiilikast 16 km ja Pré Lamy golfiväljakust 43 km kaugusel. What an amazing find. This Harry Potter themed apartment was just oozing with character. It kept us all so entertained looking at all the little bits and bobs. So much thought and attention to detail has gone into every piece in the property. The beds were so comfortable, the apartment is really spacious with everything you need and the bathroom all brand new and beautifully done. In fact the whole place is finished to an excellent standard. Avallon is a beautiful place too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We only wish we were there longer. Marco & Marine are wonderful hosts - very friendly and provided all the information I needed. We highly recommend this fabulous place.
