The hotel is in a small, quiet village but the local museum of history and art is across the road. The restaurant in the hotel seems to be the only one in the vicinity but it’s excellent and the service is great. Our room was nicely appointed and very clean with comfy beds. Good location for visiting the attractions in the area but you’ll be best to do this via car. Also the staff are very friendly and are happy to help.

Very spacious appartment with some quesionable colours (red linen ;-)) One should be cautious, if travelling with small kids...or dogs. Stairs are not protected form one side...our dog fell down, when going to dring some water in the kitchen. Nothing happened, luckily.

We loved all the Harry Potter memorabilia and the decorating, the little village on the window sill. The memory foam mattress (I’m getting one!). The costumes, the pictures on the wall. We just loved it all.
