With fantastic views of Rothiemurchus Forest and the Cairngorm Mountains, the High Range Lodge Hotel offers spacious rooms with original artwork by local artists. Really wonderful property. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are big and very clean. The beds are comfortable . There is also free parking available outside the lodge. Would definitely recommend this place. :)

Orchid lodge features a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 34 km of Castle Menzies and 7.2 km of Blair Castle. Location was beautiful, very peaceful - in the country side, it was breathtaking spot and we were all tickled pink, we loved the grass on the roof, this was easily one of our favourite places to stay

Situated in Kingussie, within 1.3 km of Kingussie Golf Club and 1.5 km of Ruthven Barracks, The Crossing features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... Lovely cozy room in a cheerfully decorated and quiet building; I loved the freshly baked cookies on arrival and the comfy armchair. Check-in was effortless with instructions sent well in advance; bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely and hot.

Situated 15 km from Balmoral Castle, Ailsa- Enchanting Tiny House with wood burner and hot tub in Cairngorms features accommodation in Ballater with access to a hot tub. House was extraordinarily cute with an amazing view. All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Craggan is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Ballater, 16 km from Balmoral Castle. It starts with its great location outside, but close to Ballater, offering a marvellous view. The house interior is very nice and cosy, the suite was spacious and offered all amenities we have been looking for. The biggest assets are nevertheless Louise and Martyn; they have provided a generous and relaxed hospitality we haven’t encountered before in any B&B. And Louise, I have to mention that, is an excellent chef with a great breakfast and dinner experience.

The Shelter Stone Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Aviemore, 46 km from University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness, 48 km from Inverness Railway Station, as well as 10 km from... It was a perfect location and was a great base for the things we wanted to do. With a full kitchen and a washer, it was great for the middle of our three-week trip.

Located in Nethy Bridge, less than 1 km from Abernethy Golf Club, Ptarmigan provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Lovely apartment in a beautiful area, the hosts were very nice and even offered some breakfast items. You can do a nice walk through nature to the Nethy Bridge Hotel for dinner. But the best thing: a highland cow near the castle and the miniature donkeys you could watch from the porch :)

Situated just 1.7 km from Ruthven Barracks, Gynack Villa offers accommodation in Kingussie with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as luggage storage space. We absolutely loved this place, everything was so clean and nicely. The staff was really kind, always helpful.
