The Little Mill Inn is a traditional country pub is in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside, close to Hayfield, Kinder Scout and The Pennine Way. It was fabulous, good value for money, room spotless, staff were lovely. Meals are huge and tasty. Great using local produce you can really taste the quality. The beer garden and play area for the kids was outstanding and although we didn't bring our dog it's super dog friendly and was great seeing one at breakfast! We had a room with a balcony and the view of the wheel and the small waterfall was just beautiful. Would 1000% recommend

Located within 14 km of Chatsworth House and 23 km of FlyDSA Arena in Chesterfield, The Peacock at Barlow provides accommodation with seating area. Everything was perfect. Rooms and cottages were beautiful and extremely well equipped. Towels were dreamy. The staff was wonderful. Nice location with a co cenienve store in close proximity for picking up items for day trip.

Avenue House is located in Bakewell, within 2.4 km of Haddon Hall and 3.3 km of Chatsworth House. Built in 1900, the property is within 2.8 km of Ashford Castle. Free WiFi is available. Lovely cosy, and welcoming house with great decor and a delicious breakfast. Perfect location in Bakewell for Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.

Set in Buxton and only 700 metres from Buxton Opera House, The Old Manse Guesthouse offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Samantha & Stephanie were wonderful host. Stephanie checked me in and I appreciate her help with booking an extra night with Old Manse. Samantha cooked a really good breakfast each morning. I really enjoyed the fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi & apple) & plain yogurt. She also cooked great poached eggs & cereal was appreciated. One morning I had salmon & eggs and it was yummy. I failed to mention she had nuts & dried fruit to put on the yogurt…..lots of good choices. My room & bathroom were a good size and the bed very comfortable. I enjoyed my walks from the B&B to the town centre (exploring) & taking the bus to Bakewell and Haddon Hall were fun for a day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

The Stable Rooms, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Kirk Ireton, 27 km from Chatsworth House, 28 km from Alton Towers, as well as 38 km from Buxton Opera House. Cosy, comfortable, clean. Excellent continental breakfast in a room with a log fire. Picturesque village, if you want to know what pubs were like over 100 years ago, go to the Barleymow next door!

Set in Whaley Bridge, 12 km from Buxton Opera House and 22 km from Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens, The Jodrell Luxury Suites offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. This is the first time I am writing a review on any sort of property that I’ve ever stayed but I do feel the need to say that the Jodrell were exceptional. My family rented the Roger and Edmund suites and we do not have one thing to complain about. Great attention to detail, great value for money and the owner was very helpful and responsive to every question. Can’t recommend it more.

Boasting garden views, Derbyshire Holiday Cottages features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 13 km from Chatsworth House. The cottage is in an absolutely stunning location with fantastic views. Horses in the field next to the cottage. So peaceful and relaxing. Very comfortable bed. Cottage has everything you need. We will definitely come back. We had amazing sunny weather too.

Located in Bolsover, 20 km from Clumber Park, Sanctuary inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 5-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. The facilities were absolutely incredible The hosts were incredibly welcoming and even bumped us up to a double room because they had one available. The price of the rooms include breakfast! I had a full English and my partner had mushrooms on toast both were incredible. The food here is outstanding the baked Brie and the ribs from the tapas menu were insanely delicious and the steaks were cooked perfectly. The bar is clearly the social hub of Bolsolver with a large selection of drinks and a very welcoming atmosphere. I was initially a little concerned that I would be able to hear the sbr as you stay above it. BUT I can honestly say you can NOT hear anything and it was the best nights sleep I have had in a hotel. It's in a very quaint setting and the town of Bolsolver is very beautiful.. I recommend Bolsolver castle as a place to visit that and Hardwicke Hall. Finally the servers and all the staff are absolutely incredible so attentive and polite and very knowledgeable about the area. If I could rate them higher I would they were so amazing. Genuinely one of the best places I have ever stayed
