The staff service is amazing—very kind, very honest, and they do everything they can to accommodate your needs. They strive to do their best for the guests. From the kitchen staff to the waiters, bartenders, and boat captains, the service is excellent. I give it a 100 rating, and very, recommend it to anyone in the world who wants to escape their daily routine and feel like royalty. Go to CASA CARIBE HOTEL. We are thinking about returning. Great if you want to experience somewhere peaceful and quiet. Can only be reached by boat. The hotel provides complimentary boat transfer upon check-in and check-out. Staff was fantastic, especially Ronaldo. He was able to speak English and helped me arrange a boat tour as well as a shuttle to my next destination.

Suggestive location with rooms in the canals with crocodiles (don’t worry they wont eat you!). Rooms were perfect for being a lodge. A couple of nice activities are available such as a walk in the jungle and kayak in the lake. Most pleasant surprise was the food… simply extraordinary for a low price compared to Europe, and I’m quite picky usually as Italian.
