Great stay at Tortugal!!! Really nice room, great shower, good breakfast and food. And finallly Angela and the rest of the staff are amazing! Definitely the place to stay if in Rio Dulce

Simply wonderful. The staff service is amazing—very kind, very honest, and they do everything they can to accommodate your needs. They strive to do their best for the guests. From the kitchen staff to the waiters, bartenders, and boat captains, the service is excellent. I give it a 100 rating, and very, recommend it to anyone in the world who wants to escape their daily routine and feel like royalty. Go to CASA CARIBE HOTEL. We are thinking about returning. Lovely friendly lady who runs this hostel. Lovely fresh pancakes and fruit and coffee for breakfast every day Small plunge pool to cool off in. Comfortable beds -only downside there are no lockers Fully equipped kitchen.. Short 10 min walk back to big supermarket.and ATM's and the boat dock. Also the ticket office for the boat for Livingston or shuttle buses are just at the side of the supermarket

Situated in Rio Dulce, 5.5 km from Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, Hotel Real del Rio features views of the pool. Nice staff and room! It is noisy die to the road but if you live in the city it is the same amount of noise. We were so tired from our trip from Mexico city and went straight to Rio dulce it was easy for us to fall a sleep Also pick up (collectivo/public boat) from the hotel to Livingstone and other river lodges
