Location is central, next to Chinatown and close to the originally Dutch old town (Kota Tua). Chinatown starts right at the back of the hotel and it is walkable to the central square of Kota Tua. We were upgraded to better rooms and they were really spacious and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. The hotel seemed extremely clean and not particularly worn out. Sound proofing of windows is decent (we even stayed during Ramadan). Transportation to and from the airport is easy enough, price with the Bluebird taxi app only about 10 EUR.

I had an amazing stay at Good Feeling the staff were super friendly, and the hostel had a great vibe. The Ijen Crater tour was incredible, with stunning views and a well organized trip. Highly recommend it!

I loved this little hostel in Banyuwangi, it was spotlessly clean, very quiet, the beds were so comfortable, the showers were amazing, the family who own the hostel live next door and are such kind helpful people. The free breakfast included is so delicious, way better than a lot of the free breakfasts other hostels include. This is the perfect spot to stay in Banyuwangi if you want to explore the surrounding area. I did the Ijen tour through the hostel and ended up doing it with a small group and a really great guide so would 100% recommend.
