Located in Puncak and about a 5-minute drive from Taman Safari Indonesia Zoo and Theme Park, a world-class zoo and titled the best conservation site by Indonesian Ministry of Forestry. It takes a 10-minute drive from the property to Cisarua Traditional Market, and about a 20-minute drive to the iconic Puncak Pass Room provided as per request, next to each other and wish for my son birthday. The room clean, a bit small but still nice.

Banyuwangi International Airport is 15 km away. Iwan gave us a warm welcome and helped set up transport to Surabaya right from the hostel. Location is perfect — calm but still central enough to get anywhere easily. Kitchen was useful, and the common space made it easy to connect with other travelers.

I spent hours reading and journaling. It felt calm and safe, even for a solo female traveler. The rooms were basic but clean, and the showers had hot water (which I didn’t expect!). Staff were soft-spoken and respectful, and the other guests were laid-back—not rowdy backpackers, which I appreciated. A great choice if you’re looking to unwind for a few days.
