I can definitely recommend dormigo to anyone lucky enough to find themselves in Bir. It’s also right next to the deer institute for anyone interested in enrolling in a course there.

Nestled right by a river stream, the hostel offers a beautiful rooftop space with fantastic views. The location is ideal – only a short 300-meter walk from the landing point, with plenty of great cafes nearby, all within walking distance. I absolutely loved the food here! It was wholesome, delicious, and had that perfect touch of home, served with just the right amount of love. The vibe here is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for solo travelers and long-stay guests who want to relax and connect with others. As a solo female traveler, I felt super safe and welcomed here. A special shoutout to our incredible host, Raman, who always looked out for me and ensured I felt secure, even when I ventured out on my own. The rest of the staff is just as wonderful, keeping everyone well-fed and making sure we feel at home in this space they've created with so much love.

Rooms are equipped with a balcony with city views. Nice place out of the crowding, with really nice and big rooms. Common áreas are really agrable and food is amazing. The best in Dharamkot. Staff are so nice and helpful:)

I loved very much location and atmosphere. Location is 3 km walk from McLeod, nice and beautiful way to walk. Peaceful and calm, a bit distant from McLeod noise, so i could enjoy nature and silence and great mountain view. Dhundup and his staff are very kind and friendly, always ready to help. Clean and comfortable room. Very delicious food in the guest house restaurant. Lots of local people and monks coming to his restaurant for food, so i could observe and enjoy their habits and daily life to better understand it.
