We had a party with a nut allergy and they took it seriously with substitutions for some items on the dinner menu. Our private onsen in the room was great as well, perfect temperature with a nice little view of Lake biwako. Some of us also enjoyed the public bath. All staff were amazing, from the receptionist, to the waitresses and the driver. All of us felt we were very well taken care of despite only staying one night.

This recently renovated apartment is located 9 km from Maibara Station and 10 km from Green Park Santo. Guests staying at the apartment can make use of a terrace and open-air bath. Stayed there for a week but I feel like I can stay here forever. Firstly l, the staff is so polite and even though he couldn’t speak English he used a translator. The instructions are so well prepared so we can follow it to use the rice cooker and washing machine/dryer. The staff is very nice and moved us downstairs halfway through our stay so we stayed at both levels and it’s very clean. Level 2 is tatami room and it feels so nice to just laze around. Level 1 is wooden floor and feels bigger. Both levels are nice. We drove, so location is ok. Driving to everywhere around town takes about only 5-10 mins. If you have baby, they will prepare the crib / bed and special bin with wet wipe for your baby.
