Koku is exceptional. The staff are particularly accommodating, especially as I requested the dinner bundle late. Its location is perfect for walking Henro, and the excellent Ofuro is a superb offering for tired legs and feet. Dinner and breakfast meals are top-notch, delicious and bountiful. Overall a superb ryokan, very highly recommended.

The staff was very helpful and nice. We had a good time. The room are basic but you have all you need. The plywood style is very trendy. The hostel have everything you need downstairs and it’s very clean.

We were travelling around on motorbikes and found this fantastic guesthouse, which was very clean, with spacious rooms and all amenities required within striking distance to Mt Aso. The owner was very helpful, even helping us book ferry tickets to Shikoku, and the attached Izakya had great food and atmosphere.

Everything was perfect. Probably the best stay I've ever had anywhere. Two floors all to ourselves. Very artsy interior. A private onsen. Exceptional service. Yukata to wear. Lots of gifts.

A beautiful place to sleep,great location,and the owner is so nice,she even hugged me when I entered.I recommend it, it's really beautiful!

Nastanitev SETO CLAS AJI THE SEASIDE HILLS RESORT se nahaja v mestu Aji in ponuja bazen, vrt, teraso, razgled na morje ter brezplačen WiFi. The property was perfect. It was quite remote which we enjoyed after coming from the business of the city. The room was immaculately clean and spacious and was well equipped with amenities and cooking equipment. The view from the room and the huge balcony was beyond stunning. Would highly recommend staying here, and already have to many people! Would definitely stay here again and wish we had been able to stay longer.

The owners of this stay were so very very kind. We had to inform them that someone on our reservation was unable to come due to an illness, and they went out of their way to get her a souvenir! How kind is that?! When you arrive, they give you a cup of, possibly, the most delicious heated orange juice I have ever had. Genuinely both my brother and I were shocked at how good it was lol. They were also very complementary of my terrible japanese, so bonus points for hyping me up XD. The stay itself is quite small, but it has a magnificent view out of the window to the beach and the palm trees, and the sunset over the mountain is breathtaking. It also has everything you would need for a stay, fridge, microwave, table, kitchenette, etc. Special shoutouts to the shower, holy crap the heat and water pressure from that thing were life changing, and I wish I could have taken that shower home with me. Genuinely in the months that I have stayed in Japan that was the best shower I have ever had. No worries about food, there is a Konbini very close as well. All in all this was a wonderful stay, very convenient, hosts were really nice. Absolutely will try to stay here again when I retry the Shimanami Kaido.
