This was by far the best stay I’ve had in Sri Lanka, and I truly wish I had stayed longer! The hostel is tucked away in a quiet, green area just outside the centre, the travel to the hostel is peaceful and extremely scenic. The place itself is beautiful, homely, and welcoming, and the host and their family are incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel immediately comfortable as a solo traveller. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the common areas are relaxing and charming. Breakfast and dinner were affordable, tasty, and filling. With the host’s guidance, I easily explored the stupas by push bike and never felt rushed or out of place. Whether you’re travelling solo or in a group, I can’t recommend this hostel enough—it’s warm, accommodating, and an unforgettable experience.

Came here with my girlfriend for a relaxing vibe and it was absolutely amazing. We were the only ones there the whole time so every time we ate food it was like we had a private chef with amazing food. Pool was super clean and staff were amazing. Really good AC in rooms and bathroom was spectacular with bathtub. Only three main villas on main property so it’s very chill place. If your looking to relax for a day or 2 100 percent recommend. 100 percent worth the money. They even got me a taxi to my next spot

Všichni z rodiny byli moc milí. Zařídili nám i safari výlet za rozumnou cenu. Při odjezdu nam zastavili správný autobus pro naši další cestu.

Everything was just as promised. There were no other guests that night so I had the living room and verandah to myself. Everything went as expected.

Attikulama Tank je 6 km daleko.... It was exceptional. The staff was professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The whole resort was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. It's located in a small forest with butterflies, pheasants, a variety of wild birds and cute chickens. You can take a walk, play badminton, go to the nearby lake or visit the temples in anuradhapura or mihintale - it's very close. The hosts can arrange tours as well - we went to Anuradhapura with a guide and it was very fun and a fair price. Also the food: try the Sri Lankan breakfast it's delicious! We loved the tree house - it was so relaxing when it was rainy. They even offered room service. :) long story short - a must stay. Ps: please note that there is nature around. It's a tree house in a jungle-like forest. There are occasionally frogs and other visitors on your terrace. We loved it though.

The vibes were super nice, the hosts made a community vibe and made you feel very welcome and in a family with everyone. It was the best decision to start my solo trip here as it already helped me meet people. The room is small but enough. It has a ventilator for the upper beds and another for the lower beds. The toilet and shower were very clean. The beds were comfy and pillows as well. They provide the bed sheeting. The kitchen!!! They have a small kitchen and it was gret for preparing breakfast and coffe and eating together with the rest of the people. They have hammocks and beds to chill everywhere, so the name fits very well ❤️‍🩹

Emerald Home Stay se nachází na výhodném místě v centru města Anuradhápura a nabízí terasu a výhled do zahrady. From start to finish, our stay at Emerald was amazing! The room was super clean and comfortable, The bathroom was spacious with large shower and plenty of warm water The breakfast and dinner were both outstanding, with well-prepared local dishes that really showcased the flavors of the area. The hosts were exceptionally kind, always ready to assist and make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place

MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU se nachází v destinaci Nochchiyagama a nabízí zahradu. Penzion také nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a neplacené soukromé parkoviště. The location is great, far from noise. It’s very calm and peaceful. The house is also very clean and spacious. The caretaker, Sadi (I hope I spelled the name correctly), is a super nice guy and always ready to help. He makes staying here even more special. Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here. It is also possible to organize a safari trip. The price seems fair, and the driver will pick you up directly from the house. I was very satisfied with how well it was organized.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort se nachází v destinaci Habawewa a má zahradu, nekuřácké ubytování a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Jen 39 km odtud je Kumbichchan Kulama Tank. Excellent location, few steps from the gate of the National Park! Room was very comfortable and very clean. Bed was super comfortable too and mosquito net provided. Air con was a welcome relief from the heat. Bathroom was also spacious and clean, hot water was great. The owner was the sweetest man, his nephew messaged to ask if I wanted dinner, I declined, but the owner knocked on my door to give me fruit and ice cream so I wouldn’t go hungry at night. So sweet! His nephew also provided me with a welcome drink and even took me on the safari. Highly recommend doing the safari with them, they were the most affordable and they really considered what animals I wanted to see and tried their best to find them. The breakfast, lunch and snacks were so good! I was very well fed! They were very accommodating to me and really put in effort to help me when my card had issues. I will definitely stay with them again.
