Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. This family run hotel is an experience. Amazing history, beautiful rooms, breakfast and dinner. Cannot recommend enough. Amazing.

Lunde Turiststasjon is situated in Jølster in Sunnfjord and offers accommodation in cottages, apartments and rooms. Great view of the glacier from the room. Excellent hiking nearby.

Olden Fjord Apartments is set in Olden and features a pool with a view and garden views. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We did not book the room with breakfast. So all good

Located in Briksdalsbre, Trollbu Aabrekk gard provides accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Very lovely cabin and modern inside ;) clean, spacious and gets everything we need for a short stay. The view outside the cabin is stunning. Also, the host is very quick to our requests and provides help promptly.

Situated in Skei in the Sogn og Fjordane region, Jolster sauna apartments features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. Very spacious apartment. The sauna is wonderful, especially after a long walk in cold weather. The sauna heats up very quickly. The apartment is well equipped. I don’t think we missed anything. There is even a drying rack for clothes. Beautiful lake, impressive glaciers nearby.

Olden Camping is a recently renovated campground in Olden, where guests can make the most of its water sports facilities and garden. With river views, this accommodation features a balcony. Beautiful lodge with stunning views.

Situated in Skei, Kjøsnes Feriehytter features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Our vacation at Nils Einar's was simply amazing—from the location to the house to the bed. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. Nils is a fantastic host who was always available with help and advice. The holiday home was a wooden dream. Plenty of space for a family of five with little rascals. The amenities left nothing to be desired. But the best part was the location—right on Lake Jølster, with a private boat and swimming area, yet not too isolated. You could reach Skei, with its shopping options, in a five-minute drive or a 20-minute walk. The weather—with 10 days of sunshine and nearly 30°C—was the proverbial icing on the cake. At times, we felt like we had accidentally driven south toward Italy instead of heading north to Norway.

Rødseter Gjestegård is a working farm, peacefully located in the countryside of Fjarland and offers views of the impressive, surrounding mountains. Absolutely everything about our visit here was perfect in every way. It's an utterly stunning setting within walking or short driving distance of the most gorgeous overlook for a dramatic glacier/waterfall/creek .. We were lucky enough to catch the glacier calving twice in our brief visit which is always super cool to experience. The accommodation itself is incredibly charming and beautifully maintained on a sweet little farm style homestead that has been in the same family for centuries.. They have done an extraordinary job at renovating it to where it is modern and comfortable, yet retains all of the historic charm and architecture as well, which is not an easy balance to attain. The family that runs it (mother/father/son and even grandma who bakes homemade yummies for breakfast) are the nicest, warmest people .. They offer a dinner option which I highly recommend opting into that is served family style in the dining room and was wonderful .. Absolutely loved our visit and can't recommend it enough .. There's also a glacier museum about a ten minute drive away that is worth a stop on the front or back side if you are so inclined .. Definitely don't hesitate to book here as it was one of our favorite accommodations in our 2.5 week road trip through Norway and that's saying a lot since Norway overall has some really awesome options accommodation wise and value for dollar at this one is extremely high as well. 🥰😍

The most beautiful, Clean and well organised camping we have been to, with small attentions to make it cosy and accomodating. Lots of outdoor activities for the whole family for free at site,as well as great walk Paths very well marked to the most amazing viewpoints.
