Located near Serra da Estrela, this 250-year old manor house has historic furnishings and artistic accessories. Each themed room is a reminder of older way of life. Very beautiful rooms and common areas, cozy, great location, kind staff, the views to the mountains, substantial breakfast, the paintings on the wall and antique furniture... Very comfortable beds. We slept like we were on a cloud. Warm in winter. Great location with stunning views.

Amazing place in a beautiful setting with super helpful staff who clearly take pride in this wonderful experience. Pools are lovely and relaxing with lots of different areas of bubbles / jets / saunas/ steam room etc. rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Food is amazing with lots of choices ( we are vegetarian) and the even the breakfast coffee tastes lovely! ( unusual!)

In the Serra da Estrela Mountains, this Manteigas hotel offers guest rooms with balconies overlooking forest landscapes of Serra da Estrela . A well-positioned and very beautiful little hotel in Manteigas. As it was summer, the pool was a real bonus and the pool temperature was just perfect. Easy access to supermarket and local restaurants. Raphael was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this stay.

This hotel in Guarda’s centre is located at Portugal’s highest point, at 1000 metres altitude. It has a restaurant overlooking Serra da Estrela. This is a fantastic hotel in a not too visited part of North Portugal, even Guarda would worth the attention of the travellers. We loved the design of the building, and the interieur, which was very friendly, even some reconstruction work was ongoing. The breakfast was excellent, wide variety of foods, fresh, crispy baked rolls, salamis etc. The restaurant served excellent foods for dinner. The staff in the restaurant was extremely polite, and kind at the same time.

The host was very helpful and kind. The house met all our expectations and stayed warm despite the chilly weather. The kids absolutely loved the place.

Objekt Tranca da Barriga - Casa do Vinho by Quinta De São Tiago u gradu 'Covilhã' nudi pogled na planinu, sezonski vanjski bazen, vrt, zajednički salon, terasu i bar. Beautiful location and facilities, including the pool and winery with a tour explaining the organic grapes grown. The wine tasting with charcuterie tray was superb. We were thrilled to help with grape picking in the morning, receiving a basket of grapes to enjoy munching on. Each family member is friendly, kind and passionate about their business, also helping with the cheese factory location nearby.
