Located near Serra da Estrela, this 250-year old manor house has historic furnishings and artistic accessories. Each themed room is a reminder of older way of life. Very friendly and historic atmosphere at the same time! We felt very welcome and like at home! The host was fabulous! We were here 16 years ago, this year and will stay again if travel in this area!

Amazing place in a beautiful setting with super helpful staff who clearly take pride in this wonderful experience. Pools are lovely and relaxing with lots of different areas of bubbles / jets / saunas/ steam room etc. rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Food is amazing with lots of choices ( we are vegetarian) and the even the breakfast coffee tastes lovely! ( unusual!)

I felt like part of a family rather than just a guest. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-run hotel with exceptional service.

This hotel in Guarda’s centre is located at Portugal’s highest point, at 1000 metres altitude. It has a restaurant overlooking Serra da Estrela. The hotel room and comfort were great. We felt very comfortable with my 9 year old daughter. Breakfast was great. Location is good.

Nacionalni park Serra da Estrela udaljen je samo 6 km.... Perfect location for my stay in Covilha. The staff were as welcoming as always (I've stayed here several times before) and the room was exactly what I needed. Breakfast was good and the view from the breakfast room is spectacular.

Objekt Tranca da Barriga - Casa do Vinho by Quinta De São Tiago u gradu 'Covilhã' nudi pogled na planinu, sezonski vanjski bazen, vrt, zajednički salon, terasu i bar. Beautiful location and facilities, including the pool and winery with a tour explaining the organic grapes grown. The wine tasting with charcuterie tray was superb. We were thrilled to help with grape picking in the morning, receiving a basket of grapes to enjoy munching on. Each family member is friendly, kind and passionate about their business, also helping with the cheese factory location nearby.
