Hönö Sjöbodar features lake views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Hönö. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Something better than this would be difficult to find. The cabin was perfect with everything that I could need. It was very spacious with a great sea view. Kitchen had all the utensils I could need from a water kettle for tea to a dishwasher. I travelled alone with the goal of disconnection and relaxation but there is enough space to a larger group of people. The location is perfect, the shop (ICA) is near and within walking distance from the pier where the ferry leaves you or a bust stop. Best of all, the location between Hönö and Öckero islands. This way one can go hiking north to Öckero and Hälsö one day and another day go south to hike around Hönö and Fotö.

Situated in Ljungskile, Holiday Home Ljungskile is a recently renovated accommodation, 17 km from Bohusläns Museum and 32 km from Trollhättan railwaystation. The location is quiet and serene. On one side, you have views of the lake, on the other side of the forest. There’s a nice little porch in front of the house you can sit on and enjoy the view. The house comes equipped with everything - and I mean EVERYTHING. Cotton buds. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Coffee. Towels. Detergent. Thermometer! Anything we needed was already there. I’ve never been in a holiday home that was so well equipped. Very clean. It had air conditioning. Very spacious kitchen and living. Great size TV. Good internet.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Orust East Coast Villa is situated in Stillingsön. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The chalet was very well equipped , with tea , sugar , coffee etc left for us , which was very kind . The beds were large and comfortable and the shower was excellent .

Situated in Hunnebostrand, 1.8 km from Hästedalens Badplats, Hotell Kaprifol features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. This was a perfect place to stay. Our hosts were kind, caring and helpful. Thechotel has been totally renovated and is spotlessly clean. There is a nice terrace with a view over the sea and a bar open from 1500 to 2000 for the residents. The fish soup on our last evening was delicious.

Set in Strömstad in the Västra Götaland region, Medvik Högalid has a garden. With free private parking, the property is 2.1 km from Hällestrand Beach and 11 km from Daftöland. One of the best, if not the best accomodation during our road trip -we stayed at ca. 10 different places in total over ca. 2 weeks (incl. some allegedly 4-star hotels) so we feel we have a good baseline. Whilst there is a bus stop across the street, you need a car to be able to commute comfortably to this location from Stromstad. The flat itself is well-equipped, excellently arranged and designed with a fully equipped and functional kitchen, and a bathroom with a washing machine, which was a big plus for us. The bed we used (there are two probably king-size beds in the property) was comfortable and we really liked the neighboorhood. We also enjoyed the balcony in the evening as the weather was excellent and the relaxing sound of the neighbour's water element was a great way to wrap up a tiring day. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others - keep up the good work!

Our home country's flag and personal welcome note was flying at the door of our little apartment when we arrived.

Tangen offers accommodation in Kungshamn, 46 km from Lysekil Bus Station. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. It was a nice place to stay and Emma & Christian were very kind and helpful.

Hällestrand Cottage -Sillen is set in Strömstad, 200 metres from Hällestrand Beach, 13 km from Daftöland, as well as 34 km from Fredriksten Fortress. Cosy, pleasant place in typical swedish cottage. Věry satisfied !

At a scenic seaside location, Everts Sjöbods Bed & Breakfast features a terrace and free WiFi access. Vitlycke Museum is 11.2 km away. Most guest rooms feature sea views. This is a charming place right on the water. Beautiful views over the harbor to different rocky outcroppings. The breakfast was very good, available in a nice eating area with fresh bread and many other items. The bedroom was small but very comfortable and the shared kitchen was quite functional. The host staff was really pleasant and helpful, good interactions. We enjoyed walks along the seashore and in the area. We would return and would recommend Everts to others.
