As soon as we looked out the window, we were treated to an incredible northern lights show – an absolutely magical welcome! The next day, Stefan took us on an amazing trip to the mountains, where we saw a herd of moose up close. Later, we explored the frozen lake and surrounding forest on snowmobiles, which was such a thrilling adventure! In the evening, we relaxed in the wood-burning sauna, which was perfect after a day out in the cold. To top it off, we went for another snowmobile ride at night, which created an incredible and almost surreal atmosphere. Stefan is a fantastic host—very welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He made sure we had the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a true Arctic adventure combined with comfort and stunning nature, Camp Caroli is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Offering a terrace and river view, Aurora River Camp Glass igloos & cabins is situated in Kiruna, 19 km from Kiruna Train Station and 17 km from Kiruna Bus Station. This is an absolutely wonderful and unique glass igloos ! The igloos is clean and comfortable. The host is very friendly and always ready to help with any inquiries.

The house is amazing — very comfortable, well-equipped, and the view from the window is just stunning. A perfect, peaceful location for nature lovers. The owners are great too. They gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home.

This apartment was super cozy. The living area and rooms were comfortable, especially the bed. The huge windows overlooking the lake was great especially for northern lights viewing. The hosts were accommodating to my requests and even messages me one evening to tell me the northern lights were happening. Would definitely stay here again!

You can really feel the care and passion behind the place. Communication with the team was always clear, friendly and helpful. A perfect place to fully disconnect and experience the North. Highly recommended — we would happily come back!

Set in Kiruna, 5.5 km from Kiruna Train Station, Laplanders rooms offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This was a last minute booking for us as we had missed our train to Abisko and so we did not have high hopes for the place, but we were mildly surprised. The host, was just amazing, even let us know when the lights appeared. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy. The host was even kind enough to show us around town a little and the drop us off to the train station. It is a great stay and very affordable. Trust the place and go in head first, eyes closed 😁
