There is a bit of light pollution but manageable. It was windy one night and being able to hop into the cabin to stay warm quickly is a big plus. Marc was the most gracious host i've met. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the apartment. The hosts were incredible—responsive, thoughtful, and always ready to assist. One particular incident truly highlighted their dedication. Our car broke down in the middle of the road, 32 kilometers away from the hotel. Ronnie and Samantha, the owners, went out of their way to pick us up and ensure we got back safely. Their kindness and the helpful advices we received throughout our stay made us feel genuinely cared for. The location of the hotel is perfect for witnessing the mesmerizing northern lights. It was a breathtaking experience that made our New Year incredibly special—a memory we will cherish for a lifetime. For dinner go to the fjällstation (reservation!), it‘s about 15 min walk to the fjällstation, 10 min to the bus stop.

The property matches the description really well. It was a bit larger than expected actually and super comfortable beds, duvets, sheets, plenty of soft pillows. Ultra clean. BUT… the really huge quality of this place is its uniqueness! Located in a very quite, secluded place at the very end of a winding road towards a stunning lake, the mini-lodge opens up as a one-of-a-kind oasis of calmness and beauty. You can really see the lake from your seat or bed and - whether permitting - see the Northern light in its fullest glory as ever moving curtains of light above the lake against the background of mountains. The only sounds are the wind whispering through the trees, the water ebbing and flooding softly against the shore and some occasional fish grasping your attention as are plenty of water birds. I found the sauna also a big bonus, again because of its location, cleanliness and authenticity: wooden fire flickering - no electrical stove :-)
