There were moren than 1 aspect that i found so lovely. The location is quiet, in nature. They have also a restaurant which serves traditional food made out of local products and local wines. The place is run by a family, parents and children, and was founded by the family when the highway was constructed. They do a very great job together! The location is central in the country so you can have the combination of a wonderful location and not far of everything. The capital, the mountains, the see, the caves, .... . I felt at home.

Generous free breakfast of cereal, juice, croissants coffee and toast included in price (in the garden bar under apartment). Best of all was the welcome though. Staff of bar are great and the beer, popcorn and bruschetta were very welcome after a big day cycling. We were also given a free bottle of locally made wine which we drank sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down across the valley.

Perhaps a few minor details are still missing, but I believe they will take care of that as well. The hosts are very friendly and full of good advice on what to visit in the area. The breakfasts are excellent, with homemade ingredients (homemade cheese, salami, prosciutto, jams, bread), and to top it all off, the accommodation also has a small wellness area with an excellent sauna and outdoor pool. The location itself is also fantastic for trips to the surrounding area, whether it's the Soča Valley, Italy with Trieste and Venice, or the Slovenian coast and Istria in Croatia. Ljubljana is also only an hour away by car. An ideal place to relax and enjoy good food and wine. I highly recommend it!
