Gajapuri, which means "Elephant's Empire" in Sanskrit, offers a luxurious tropical experience with its spa and outdoor spa bath. Loved the very well kept greenery (the shadow of trees is so much more enjoyable than the one of anything man made). The Gajapuri is a tranquil paradise with a nice pool & beach. Breakfast is delicious with a lot of variety. Staff is professional and always eager to help. The closeness of a lot of great restaurants of all types is an extra asset. Highly recommend (just one caveat: rather think twice about going there with children).

Santhiya Koh Chang Resort offers modern rooms on Klong Prao Beach, which is part of National Marine Park on the Gulf of Thailand. It features an outdoor pool and restaurant. Everything. We booked a hideaway villa. It was worth every single penny, and full value for money. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. The resort itself was lovely too.

Situated in Ban Khlong Mat, 2.1 km from Ao Tapao Beach, Janzo House features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I had a great stay at Janzo House. The owners, Jan & Enzo were great and gave a bunch of good recommendations for my time in Koh Kood. The restaurant has good food too! It felt super homey and I loved spending my mornings next to the pool and taking naps in the hammocks. I rented a scooter from Janzo House for my duration of stay which was convenient. Thanks Jan & Enzo! I'll be back for sure.

Situated 500 metres from Bang Bao Beach, honeyhome kohkood offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a garden. The place was very quiet, clean and very short walk to a beautiful beach, which we could spend all day there. We had breakfast and lunch during our stay. They were really well homecooked dishes. I would recommend staying here for a couple of nights while visit koh kood

Located in Ban Lak Uan, 2.4 km from Ao Tapao Beach, Koh Kood Garden House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Everything! To start with, we enjoyed the location. It is in the middle of nature, with wonderful views and full of cute dogs. The place was very quiet, and we slept nicely. The location is also perfect, close to many nice beaches and waterfalls. The people in the hotel were fantastic! The receptionist was a sweetheart, and the management people were kind. The last day we went to take the ferry and we forgot our portable charger at the reception and the guys drove to the port to take the charger to us . We really appreciated this and we are very grateful . 🙏 Another thing I really appreciated was the sustainability practices they adopt at the hotel . They have free filtered water all over the hotel and they provide water bottles to their guests. This is the first time I have seen something like that in a hotel in Thailand and I really appreciate these actions, especially on the islands as we have seen a lot of plastic thrown around.

Sol Beach Koh Chang has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Ko Chang. Loved the outdoor gym right by the beach. The healthy and delicious food, the daily yoga and the daily ice bath. We will be back!

Set in Ban Map Khangkhao, less than 1 km from Klong Prao Beach, Drifters Anchor offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. We loved our stay here. From the two brothers who run the place, to the relaxed community area with bar and pool, to our bungalow with its spacious terrace, everything was wonderful. The cute, funny dogs were an unexpected highlight and will even stay in your bungalow for extra snuggles if you let them. The views and sunsets up here are absolutely stunning. Getting there involves a bit of a hike, but we genuinely enjoyed it. Since we usually spend our days in Thailand eating, smoking, and lying on the beach, the walk up was a welcome bit of movement and actually quite refreshing.

Set within 1.4 km of Klong Prao Beach and 11 km of Mu Koh Chang National Park in Ko Chang, Baanrimklong bungalow features accommodation with seating area. The location was great. The wifi was really good, I was able to do a bunch of work meetings and long video calls. They have an inexpensive laundry service.
