The breakfast each morning was a royal feast, with fresh fruits, pastries, and local delicacies presented with care and warmth. But what truly sets Hotel Amanda apart is the service. Every staff member treated us not as guests, but as honored friends. Thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely kind — it’s rare to feel so seen and so welcome. The manager spoke English. The WiFi was fast and reliable. I actioally had an online job interview while I was thereand the connection was grate. Everything was clean. I coud use the kitchen and washing mashine and they even have detergent. there was space to park the scooter. May be I was lucky because it was the end of the season but the price was also very affordable.

All the staff are kind, friendly, and laid-back. The host J shared a bunch of local recommendations with me, and I enjoyed our morning chats at the coffee shop :) They also run a bar in the same building, and even as a solo traveller, I felt comfortable spending time there because the bartenders were warm and welcoming. And of course their original cocktails were great too! My fav was 貴妃挽茶 (Imperial Concubine Yang).
