It’s very new, is in a stunning location that may be the best in Luye. The rooms are huge, the styling is lovely, and it’s like a full service apartment with everything you could possibly want. We were on the top floor, and the view from our room was serene and beautiful. The other thing that I loved is that the bed was huge, and after 1 month in Taiwan it was the only Guesthouse we’ve stayed in where the bed was long enough for my feet to not hang off the end the end of the bed (my height is 6 ft 2 in).

The wifi is working well and downstairs is cozy area where you can chill. If you order breakfast you won't regret! The meal is freshly made with lots of veggies and fresh made bread! I've never had that amazing breakfast in any accommodation. Also Jamie is super friendly and give you recommendations for places where to go and where to eat! Make sure you book more nights because in Luye is many places where to go and the area is so beautiful!

We stayed in DF life lodge during our family reunion trip with three generations across countries to see hot air balloon in Taitung. The lodge is new, clean and well-decorated. The breakfast is delicious and healthy. The location is close to 鹿野高台, very convenient for hot air balloon viewing. One thing to note, we forgot something in the hotel after check-out. The host notified us right away and helped us to send the stuff back without charges. The service is excellent. Highly recommended and we will definitely go back if we ever go to the area again!

Plus, there’s an incredible tea house just across the street that’s definitely worth checking out—such a gem! Everything about my stay felt thoughtful, warm, and personal. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend!
