It’s a lovely family run place, the hotel is super chill compared to the Main Street that’s a few minutes away. The rooms are clean, especially the washroom and there’s a shared balcony thing where we got to have breakfast and it’s so peaceful in the morning. And they have these adorable cats and free water refill station. And the family that runs it are very welcoming. I would really recommend staying the night here to really enjoy jiufen at night see all the beautiful lanterns glowing without the crowds!

With city views, this accommodation provides a balcony. This 5-star homestay offers private entrance. Very new (only 3 months old!) so everything was in good shape. Free coffee and tea, and a small basket of snacks/instant noodles you’re welcome to take from. The owner is kind and even brought us breakfast an hour before we were set to leave, etc.

The rooms were really clean, spacious, great water pressure. It was a great location too, being only a 5 minutes walk to the Jiufen Old Street and has a very scenic view of the mountains and coast. We were also very happy we could park in front of the hotel.

The homestay located in the middle of the hill. Very scenic and windy with birds chirping all around :) Upon check-in, met the owner Mr and Mrs Tsu, super nice people and shared with me good location where to go. The room is very spacious even to fit 4 people. Plus point Mimi the resident cat is always hanging around outside the house :) They have plenty of snack and free coffee on the pantry. Breakfast is free and tasty. They even send me to train station as i'm travelling alone from Ruifang to Toucheng. It was amazing stay with such a nice weather and environment !

Location is perfect. Easy accessible from the bus stop (1-min walk from 代天府站) and parking lots. If you have lots of luggage and don't want to carry them through the famous and never-ending Jiufen stairs you may want to consider here. Not far from the old street, about 5 mins walk. View is pretty good.
Location was good next to parking lot and close to all attractions in the village. Bed and pillows were comfortable and clean . Room itself could be a bit cleaner. Man at the reception desk was very nice.
Great location, next to the Geopark. We arrived at 14.00, there where only 3 parking spaces left on the car park next to the building. Got an early check in. Play area is nice, but lots of machines though. Would be nice to have some more real play, like building blocks or something.
The room is very well decorated just as shown in the pictures. Staff is very nice and helpful since before our visit. I've asked for vegetarian meals and the staff ask for the details of what we can or cannot eat and the place provides according to our request. During our stay, the staff responds very well. Breakfast are very delicious and there's variety of food. The view is good. There's parking lot nearby but if you go there during weekends, the parking lot may not be enough.
The B&B is one of the most accessible place if you do not want to climb the staircases with luggage in Jiufen. View from the 2F room is great. Our family room comes with sofa and chairs on balcony which are rare find in Taiwanese homestay. We enjoyed using the common area for dinner and breakfast. You can book and pay for their western breakfast . We also bought Asian breakfast from Family Mart and used the microwave on 2F to warm the food. Owners were friendly and accommodating. They can reserve parking lot but you must request early.
It was good. Though we asked for clear directions to find the parking lot, we still had trouble because we didn’t realize that the road to go to the parking lot would be very steep and narrow, enough only for 1 car to get through. Dosun B&B needs to make it easier by posting their signs in English. I had to ask several people along the way how to get there.

A very cozy, comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation located in the middle of Jiufen street. Friendly hosts(including dogs and cats) will welcome you. (You’d better to find the slope to the house on the right side of the bus parking lot rather than the long stairs.) All you have to do is enjoy the beautiful port view out of the window.
The owner was very friendly. He gave us clear instructions and drove us back to our car parking. It was very central to the Main Street, like very very central - just walk a few meters and you're there. Breakfast was nice and had a good view, as it's on the hill. Bathroom and the room were big and quiet.
Perfect location to juifen old street, even steep stairs. You can go to shopping at Jiufen old street both in evening and morning. That is good for shopper. There is breakfast that fit for one meal. The owner is friendly and kind. There is parking lot next to the hotel. You should call the hotel before you arrive to open the parking lot. The way up is quite steep and curved, there are a lot of cars after you.
