We had our own apartment with a sitting room and everything. We only stayed 1 night so can’t vouch for the functionality of the kitchen, but the space was great and we especially loved the welcome coffee and cookies :) and the roof access with views of the mountains! And the woman working there was just lovely.

Cecile’s homemade dinners were nothing short of amazing – flavorful, beautifully prepared, and always shared with fascinating stories that made every evening cozy and memorable. Breakfast was fresh, fruity, and equally delicious! The location is perfect – close to the airport and ideally placed for heading out to safari adventures. The house itself is beautifully designed with an authentic and unique style, and the pool is simply stunning. Everything was spotless, with the highest level of cleanliness throughout. We also loved the small touches – fast and free internet, and the magical outdoor fire pit in the evenings, creating the perfect, peaceful way to end the day. Staying here was more than just accommodation – it was a heartfelt experience, a true home away from home. Cecile and Male gave us memories we will treasure forever, and we couldn’t imagine better hosts. ❤️🥹🥲

Rooms clean and spacious, atmosphere warm and welcoming, food delicious, and service was exceptional. Thank you so much to the team for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable.

My friends and I loved Mina Chai House and it was the highlight of our time in Arusha-- we even booked a second stay after our safari! The location is secure, the rooms/beds are super comfortable, and everything is spotless. Seriously, whoever cleans this house should get a raise. Zena, the manager, is a very warm person and made our stay feel like we were at home. We also had dinner at the property made by Asha and it was delicious (and they make it spicy if you ask, unlike a lot of places for tourists!). Stay here if you can! Even my friends who are used to luxury hotels said this place was lovely and wanted to come back a second time.

The room was huge and very nicely designed. Had lots of hot water. The restaurant was very tasty and had very good prices. I got a massage, mani and pedi and all were great! The staff was very nice and welcoming.
