This was my second stay at Fred & Winnie’s BnB, and once again, it exceeded all my expectations! The exceptional hospitality that makes this place so special was even better this time around. Its spotless cleanliness, and warm, homely ambiance make it feel like a true home away from home. The breakfast options are outstanding - there’s something for everyone, from fresh pastries and fruit to hearty cooked breakfasts. The hosts happily catered to my special requests. The staff make guest feel welcome and well-cared for. I can’t recommend this BnB highly enough - it’s a gem I’ll return to again and again!

Latitude 0 Degrees is a magic place in the hills of Kampala (access road has significantly improved in the meanwhile) and has become a second home to me when I am there. The cuisine and the wines are on very decent level but the 10 points come from the stuff - all from security to front desks and the restaurants (sometimes a bit very relaxed on the morning coffee, but that’s all). The places interior is a remarkable combination of Victorian time age elements and contemporary Eastern African art in modern architecture, sounds crazy but well done and well maintained in every little details. The gardens lovely decorated, nice pool (even if small) and extraordinary gym not like often in the last corner of the subgroups but open views in three directions to the hills around Kampala. Also the conference room area looks excellent, even if not yet used. Can imagine this to be a good atmosphere for lengthy negotiations or a good workshop with decent possibilities for break out sessions. I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The rooms are incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. What truly set this place apart, however, was the exceptional customer care. The staft went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly, making me feel genuinely welcomed. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!
