We received a free upgrade to the Lodge so this review is based on that. The location is excellent, right on the bank of the Danube at the edge of the old town. There is a park nearby and a shopping area within walking distance. The room was big enough for 2 adults and a small dog and very comfortable. The balcony was large however the view was blocked by an old tower. The breakfast was very good with lots of options.

Although checking in was a bit challenging due to the absence of staff at reception and a somewhat clunky digital entry system, we eventually managed—even two middle-aged couples—to navigate the technology and access the rooms. The rooms at Johny’s Jungle are simple, clean, and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast—truly one of the most generous and delicious we had during our trip. The breakfast team showed genuine care and hospitality, making the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely family, lovely hotel. Excellent food and the location couldn't have been any closer to the Danube cycle path. Breakfast was incredible, bikes had secure storage. Perfect place to stop and great accommodations for our group of 8 cyclists.

A delicious breakfast was served across the road overlooking the Danube ,beautifully appointed and modern. Great selection to suits all tastes.     Beautiful location ; my 6 years old and both I and my husband had a great time staying in this lovely farm with rabbits and babies , pony, goat and babies , cats and many kittens , cows, Guinea pigs, donkeys, chicken , goats , turkeys, dog the owner provided the pick up and drop off to and from the train station ; lovely owner’s family made us feel very homely and comfortable ; delicious home made dinner, breakfast and lunch; we would love to come back again for more days . Thanks a lot to the owner farmers 😊😊😊
