If I could score more than 10, I would! Gaelle is a an extremely warm, welcoming and considerate host. There was no detail that had been overlooked, and the house itself far exceeded my expectations. It is very well appointed and spacious with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a fabulous bathroom as well. There are plenty of nice places to eat and drink nearby within a few minutes’ walk of the house. My only regret is that we only stayed for one night. I will definitely return and Libin is a pretty good base for exploring the Ardennes.

The highlight for me was meeting the owners dogs in the morning. Gorgeous Irish Wolf hounds! The breakfast was very nice and served in a very warm separate cabin/shed. The lady was really lovely. I’m sure this is a great place to stay in the warmer months but not functional as a late overnight stop in winter like we did.

Very relaxed reception. At check-in, the lady of the house will sit with you in the beautiful living room of the house with a glass of drink. Delicious breakfast every day with an extensive range of cheeses. The area is fantastic, located in the woods where you can immediately take walks. The rooms are characteristic, just like the rest of the house. Our bedroom also had a lovely bath!
