Raul at the front desk is AMAZING… The rest of the staff at the reception are out of this world. I will be looking forward to visit Bulle and especially Hotel D because of those genuine people who made our trip worthwhile. Truly, thank you….

In old town Gruyère, very close to the castle and the bus stop that goes to and from the train station. The staff is exceptional and the hotel atmosphere takes you back to a less hurried time. We enjoyed our meals and the evening fire in the common sitting room. We highly recommend it.

The staff was very helpful upon check-in and even allowed me to check in a little earlier which was great because I could drop my luggage in the room and get out to experience the Gruyere Castle earlier than I thought. The view was incredible, it faced the mountains and Gruyere Castle. I was able to open the window and enjoy the air. It was a very clean and quiet room. Wish I stayed there more than a night.
