I liked the brilliant way the hotelier provides the guests with all the logistics information to see all the beauty in the park. As many as 13 steps on a map - bus connections and pass set up, cable tram connections, where to walk point A to point B. Timed to get you back to the home stay for a heathly evening meal. Arranged a car to take me to see to see the Zhangjiajie cave and then to the train stations. China never disappoints.

Our stay at Forest Glass Inn was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the host Xiao Mei treated us like family — not just guests. Her kindness and care made us feel completely at home. The room was incredibly spacious and spotless, offering both comfort and peace. We shared delicious breakfasts and dinners together — every meal was full of flavor. Truly some of the best food we've had on our trip. The surrounding environment is absolutely breathtaking — calm, natural, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge. It's the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem. Xiao Mei went above and beyond in every way — supporting us with everything we needed, always with a smile. We had a very good and memorable experience here! The hotel staff went above and beyond to help me plan a marriage proposal in their facilities. This place was perfectly romantic with the view of the mountains and the tranquility of the area. We used their bubble bath (very relaxing) and really enjoyed our room with view of the mountains. We had more tea than we could’ve hoped for from their amazing and super kind tea master. We also used their shuttle service to the national park entrance and got ideas for an itinerary, that was very convenient. Oh, and our room had floor heating which was very comfortable and nice. Definitely coming back and recommend it, either as a base to come back to after seeing Zhangjiajie’s marvels or even just to stay in the hotel and enjoy the peace of the mountains!

Where else can you sip espresso at 7am and be inside Wulingyuan by 7:05 (thanks to golf cart efficiency)? Staff anticipated needs: refilled my water during breakfast before I asked, and rearranged my itinerary for optimal photo lighting. That FREE shuttle saved $100+ in taxi fares. ​Pro Tip:​​ Order the ginger honey tea after hiking!
