We loved everything about this property! The lodge was secluded, clean and well kept. It was great having a kitchen space to prepare some of our own meals. The pool was a lovely oasis too! We even got to enjoy a morning watching the monkeys from our porch.

This place is paradise. We saw more animals here than anywhere else so far in Costa Rica. Even though it is just off the main highway, it is the jungle. The property is large, and full of trees. A troupe of monkeys comes to visit almost everyday. There are agouti, coati, iguana, toucans, hummingbirds, and at night, not far away, coyotes. There is an absolute symphony of nature sounds. The owner, Bettina, and her daughters, are lovely. The breakfast is great - fresh fruit, fresh buns, eggs, cereal, coffee. It kept us going all day. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting the Nauyaca Waterfalls, Marino Ballena National Park and the Uvita beach, Hacienda Baru nature trails, the Alturas Wildlife Sancturary, and more. There is a lovely swimming pool. We would do an excursion in the morning, and hang out by the pool in the afternoon. We were here for six nights, and had a fantastic time. Would definitely visit again.

The resort is absolutely beautiful, with spacious and comfortable rooms and an excellent staff. The view is breathtaking and I highly recommend it to visitors. The only aspect that I believe could be improved is the breakfast and the restaurant, which are not at the same level as other restaurants in Costa Rica and Manuel Antonio.
