The hotel is very picturesque and is located beneath the Stary Jicin castle. The room and bathroom were large, comfortable, and well-equipped; the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant in the cellar maintains the atmosphere of a hunting medieval lodge and the kitchen is excellent; we had breakfast and dinner , but not lunch. We parked our car in their private locked parking lot. All the personnel - the owner, restaurant and hotel staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. We have stayed in this hotel twice - once 10 years ago and now. We returned because our memory of our first stay was also excellent.

We were staying at this hotel on our trip to Austria for one night and we loved it. Very good breakfast, nice room, and a safe parking place were everything that we wished for. Unfortunately, we didn't try wellness centre :(
