The garden is lush with plants and trees and you can smell the flowers. I enjoyed reading on the hammock. For me the location was excellent as next door to a vegan restaurant with views of the river and great food! The hotel is family owned and the owners are lovely and very welcoming. It is extremely safe as it is all gated with access only by key fob. It’s also pet friendly for those who want to bring their animal companions. The place itself is situated right next to one of Cuenca's 4 rivers, and so as a guest, you're enjoying the calming and relaxing white noise produced by it. The apartment I stayed in gave access to a kitchen and cabinets and so this is a suitable place for longer stays.
